ViiV Healthcare are funding our work on Be in the KNOW co-creating content with young advice seekers in sub-Saharan Africa to provide information on HIV prevention options.

As well as news and blog content, ViiV funding is supporting the creation of a series of short videos on a range of topics covering sexual health basics, and specific advice videos for men who have sex with men (MSM) and trans people. Topics covered include PrEP, condom use and consent.

As with all Avert content, we have consulted with our audiences at every stage of the design process, including facilitating online focus group discussions with young women, MSM and trans people from community groups in the countries we reach, including South Africa, Zimbabwe and Uganda. The high-quality feedback and insights we receive from discussions with these stakeholder groups help usensure that the content resonates with our audiences – giving them exactly the information they need, in a way they can easily understand and engage with.
